What is your passion in hairdressing?

My passion within hairdressing was to create something special that everyone involved could be proud of and that betters its people’s lives. The salon is such a creative and fun place to be and has been built on the incredible loyalty by the team and also our clients who over the years have become one big family. The community that we have built around us means that our salons aren’t just places to get your hair done but where you can be you and tell your own story. 

How long have you been running Bloggs Salons?

Since 2010 

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My favourite celebrity hairstyle is Michelle Williams as she looks beautiful with a short pixie crop or a grown out bob. My passion is shorter styles whether it be a pixie or bob but still allowing femininity and a softness within the style.

What is your passion in hairdressing?

My passion is management. I’ve always wanted to lead by example and help my team to be happy in their roles and be the best they can be. On the shop floor I love foil work, from a classic full head to ‘babylights’, to placing foils creatively to give that bespoke finish for my client.

What year did you join Bloggs Salons?

I joined Bloggs Harbourside salon in November 2017.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

One of my favourite celebrities for her versatile hairstyles is Alexa Chung. She goes from grungy tousled bangs, to a smooth vintage wave, all the while with a colour that complements her perfectly. She really can pull it all off.

What Joe says about me:

“Hannah is amazing at highlighting, and she gives clients a really relaxing experience by bringing a calm atmosphere into the salon. She is wise beyond her years and is great to have alongside me to steer the salon on its journey.“

What is your passion in hairdressing?

As I am fairly new to hairdressing I’d say my interest apart from wanting to learn it all would be colour.

I joined Bloggs in 2019

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My favourite celebrity hairstyle would be Rihanna because she always switches it up and looks fire in any style from natural hair to wigs and braids.

What Joe says about me: “Will has an extremely bright future ahead of him, he is dedicated to learning and all of our clients love him.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

Foils are my favourite but I love playing around with colour and always wanted to learn more. I have recently rekindled my love of styling and creating the perfect finish.

How long have you been running Bloggs Salons?

I have been a director at Bloggs since 2016. 

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My favourite celebrity hairstyle is Jessica Alba who rocks balayage, halo braids, lobs and long, perfect ponytails. 

What Joe says about me: “Becky is the go-to stylist for the Gloucester Road salon and loves a big blow dry. She is an extremely happy, bubbly person and makes the salon an extra fun place to be.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

I have a huge desire to create beautiful hair. At the start of my career I was more colour oriented, however, this has now taken a side step as I found a real passion in cutting and styling hair, especially cutting a bob.

What year did you join Bloggs?

I joined in 2016.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

The celebrity hairstyle I love is Emilia Clarke, she has the cutest bobs that always look so elegant. There are so many different variations and she rocks all of them. 

What Joe says about me: “Sarah is an amazing technical hairdresser and is brilliant at styling short hair and precision cutting. She is an extremely reliable team member who heads up the Bloggs Art Team to create beautiful campaigns. She is a joy to work alongside.“

What is your passion in hairdressing?

My passion alongside cutting & colouring is offering my knowledge on professional hair care. Ensuring all of my clients know the importance of the correct products is something I excel in. There’s nothing more satisfying to me than my clients having excellent hair condition.

What year did you join Bloggs?

I have been a part of Bloggs Salons since 2013, working at both our Gloucester Road and Harbourside locations within this time. 

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My celebrity hair inspiration is Jennifer Lawrence. She has effortless, healthy, expensive looking hair regardless of her chosen look.

What Joe says about me: “Emily really is a fab ‘all rounder’. She’s dedicated to giving her clients the full experience and aftercare advise. She is fun to be around and creates a lovely atmosphere at the Gloucester Road salon.” 

What is your passion in hairdressing?

If you’d like a pamper, I’m your girl. I love creating big, bouncy glamorous waves, while giving you a fresh set of nails. I enjoy creating soft balayages, sharp bobs and anything to do with long hair!

What year did you join Bloggs?

I joined Bloggs Salons in March 2017.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My celebrity inspiration has to be Zendaya as she experiments with all hairstyles. She embraces her natural curls, while switching it up to polished slick waves, also incorporating box braids & scalp braids. 

Every hairstyle matches her outfit flawlessly. Your hair is an accessory, hunny.

What Joe says about me: “Destiny will go all the way to the very top, she has achieved so much so far with national award nominations. She has a great attitude towards her work and also runs our salon social media.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

My passion has always been styling and wedding hair. I love creating a wide range of different styles from Hollywood glam to messy ‘boho’. Alongside this I love creating different styles of balayage/face frames with anything from long hair - lobs to sweepy bangs, bespoke to each individual with their own unique statements. Most importantly I love to make people feel beautiful.

I joined Bloggs in November 2018.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My celebrity inspiration has to come from the Kardashian sisters. They’re always going above and beyond with their hair statements, from sharp lobs, face frames to glamorous long locks, extensions/wigs. They keep it exciting and fresh and I love that!

What Joe says about me: “Maz creates beautiful colour and hair styling. She is such a fashionable team member with a heart of gold, clients will come back to just see her and talk to her.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

My passion lies in nurturing my wonderful team and seeing them flourish and grow as people and stylists, wellbeing is something I value greatly and it’s at the forefront of how we run the salon. 

On the salon floor I am happiest cutting and colouring but catching up with my clients and delivering exceptional customer service is my favourite. At Bloggs we work in a relaxed environment where everyone is welcome.

I joined Bloggs Salons in 2016.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

One of my favourite celebrities would have to be Jennifer Lopez. I have followed her hairstyles for many years and it seems she can do no wrong! She is one sassy woman and her hair always reflects that. I love it when it’s sleek, I love it when its wild curls, I love all her looks. 

What Joe says about me: “Ellie is a natural when it comes to looking after curly, thick hair. She puts wellbeing at the forefront of how she conducts herself and is a genuinely lovely person.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

I enjoy doing highlights, hair styling and building up a good relationship with clients. 

What year did you join Bloggs?

I’ve been here since 2018 and am just coming to the end of my training.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My favourite celebrity hairstyle is Miley Cyrus because she can go from long lengths to a short crop and she looks insane with all of them.

What Joe says about me: “Becca is a real joy to have in salon and wants to learn everything, another one to watch in the industry. She is a real natural talent and winner of our in house competition.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

I really love a challenge when it comes to colour work in salon and pride myself on being able to assess any problem you may have with your hair - big or small -and give you creative solutions that we can work through together.

I had the pleasure of joining the Bloggs team at Gloucester Road in 2018.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

My dream celebrity client would be Margot Robbie, I adore all things blonde and she kills it every time, from full scalp bleach blonde to a soft balayage.

What Joe says about me: “Rachel creates beautiful colour work and is a real driving force with colouring at the Gloucester Road salon. She is passionate about developing her own colouring techniques and leads with transparency and honesty to achieve her hair dreams.”

What is your passion in hairdressing?

I love colour, colour, colour! Balayage, creative colouring, transformations including colour corrections, all blondes, pinks and coppers too. It’s safe to say I have a huge passion for colour.

I joined Bloggs Salons at the Harbourside back in 2017.

Favourite celebrity hairstyle?

I really love Rosie Huntington, her hair is always looking beautiful and full of body and texture. I love the various shades and depths of blonde, which are always on ‘fleek’ and suit her skin tone perfectly.

What Joe says about me: Maria is an absolute super star, her personality is infectious and salon is a better place when she is around. She offers a 5 star experience and has built a fully booked clientele by just being herself.
